Water and garbage collection rates have increased in Fontanka

In the Odesa region, the cost of utility services for residents continues to change. In the Fontanka community, water and garbage collection rates have increased.

Effective October 1, 2026, new rates for centralized water supply and wastewater disposal are in effect in the community. For residents, water costs 39.80 hryvnia per cubic meter, and wastewater disposal costs 36.50 hryvnia.
Thus, the total cost of water supply and wastewater disposal for residents is 76.30 hryvnia per cubic meter.
For public institutions and other consumers, the rate is 43.18 hryvnias per cubic meter for water supply and 40.36 hryvnias per cubic meter for wastewater disposal.
The Fontanka community has also changed its waste collection rates. For residents of single-family homes, the fee is set at 91 hryvnia per person per month, and for residents of apartment buildings, it is 55 hryvnia.
Meanwhile, the municipal utility “Nadiya” had proposed higher rates—131.85 hryvnias for single-family homes and 76.82 hryvnias for apartment buildings. However, the executive committee approved the lower amounts.
The Fontanka Rural Territorial Community is a territorial community in the Odesa District of Odesa Oblast. It comprises the villages of Fontanka, Kryzhanivka, Vapniarka, Nova Dofinivka, Oleksandrivka, and the settlements of Liski and Svitle.
The previous increase in water rates in the Fontanka community took place in August 2025. At that time, the total cost of water supply and wastewater disposal was 53.50 hryvnia per cubic meter.
Until the end of September 2026, trash collection cost 57 hryvnias per month for residents of single-family homes and 36 hryvnias for residents of apartment buildings.
The new rates took effect on October 1, 2026.
