Podilsk announced the start of e-ticket distribution to eligible individuals

Starting November 6, Podilsk will begin issuing personalized transit cards to residents eligible for fare discounts. This is a preparatory step toward the launch of a contactless fare payment system for city public transportation.
This was announcedby the Podilsk City Territorial Community.
Eligible individuals who are registered in the Podilsk community or have IDP status can apply for an electronic ticket. The E-Pass card will subsequently be used to record and track free rides at validators. The cards will be available for use after the official launch of the contactless system, which the authorities will announce at a later date.
To obtain a card, you must provide your passport (or a child’s birth certificate), tax ID number, proof of eligibility for benefits, proof of registration or IDP status, and a phone number. Applications are processed at the Administrative Services Center (31 Shevchenko Ave.) and the Department of Social Policy (4 Bochkovych St.).

IZI SOFT LLC is responsible for implementing the automated fare collection system in Podilsk. The company operates the E-Pass electronic ticket system, is part of the EasyPay fintech group, and develops technological services for Ukrainian communities.
Oleksandr Kolesnikov, commercial director and project manager, noted that they decided to begin issuing discount cards in Podilsk ahead of schedule so that people could apply for them before the system launches and learn how to use them.
E-Pass is an electronic ticketing system developed by the EasyPay fintech group, which is already being implemented in several communities across Ukraine. It enables the complete digitization of public transportation: passengers benefit from contactless payment, while city authorities gain accurate tracking of ridership and the actual provision of discounted services.
