Humanitarian aid continues to be delivered to the frontline town of Beryslav in the Kherson region via drones. Last night, the Ukrainian military delivered another 460 kilograms of food to the town for local residents who remain near the front lines.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to him, the humanitarian mission was carried out by soldiers from the “Bolgarichi” unit of the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. They used drones to deliver food to the town, where people are in need of assistance.
Prokudin emphasized that food is vital for residents who continue to remain in Beryslav despite its proximity to the front lines.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration thanked the National Guard soldiers for their coordinated efforts and support of the local population. He said that humanitarian missions to frontline settlements in the region will continue in cooperation with Ukrainian defenders so that people can receive the necessary assistance.
Recently, the Ukrainian military used drones to deliver more than half a metric ton of food to Beryslav. The de-occupied city in the Kherson region is under constant Russian shelling, making it impossible to reach by land.
Earlier, Ukrainian soldiers delivered food via drones for the second time to the occupied city of Oleshky. They used heavy UAVs to transport six metric tons of provisions across the Dnipro River for local residents.
