Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region, plans to raise tariffs for the removal and disposal of solid waste.

This was reported by the Voznesensk City Council with reference to the utility company Sanitary Cleaning of the City.

The new tariffs may come into force on June 1, 2026, after the approval procedure.

According to preliminary estimates, the increase will be about 55 percent. The company explains this by rising costs, including

  • an increase in the minimum wage and tax burden
  • a significant rise in fuel prices
  • rising prices for electricity and water supply
  • the cost of repair and maintenance of equipment

It is also noted that the current tariffs are economically unjustified and unprofitable.

After the approval, it is planned to set the following indicative tariffs for the population

  • UAH 88.25 to 111.50 per person per month, depending on the rate of waste accumulation

For enterprises:

  • budgetary institutions - UAH 410.54 per cubic meter
  • Other business entities - UAH 522.57 per cubic meter

Landfill services can cost UAH 80.70 per cubic meter.

Community members are encouraged to submit their comments and suggestions within seven days.

Mykolaiv recently raised public transportation fares - the new rates will take effect in late April and early May.

Meanwhile, in Odesa, fees for using public restrooms have been raised.

Earlier, the Nazis raised electricity tariffs for residents of the occupied territories of Kherson and other regions. At the same time, living conditions in these territories remain critical: destroyed infrastructure, power outages and water shortages.

In addition, medicines with almost expired shelf life are brought to the TOT of Kherson region. The population is actually forced to use medicines that will soon become unusable.
