In the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District of the Odesa Region, six men were injured in a collision between a minibus and a passenger car.

According to the Odesa Regional Police, the accident occurred on the evening of October 26 on the Odesa–Reni highway near the village of Starokozache.

According to preliminary police reports, the 36-year-old minibus driver failed to yield to a passenger car driven by a 29-year-old man while pulling out from a side road. After the collision, both vehicles overturned.

Both drivers and four other men, aged 40 to 53, who were in the minibus, sustained injuries. All six were taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, as Intent learned from sources in law enforcement, the individuals involved in the accident were military personnel from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC).

An investigative team was working at the scene of the accident. Police are determining the circumstances of the accident and deciding whether to enter the details into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

As Intent previously reported, the traffic accident occurred in one of the villages of the Balt community in the Odesa region.

According to police, an employee of the district TCC and SP, who was conducting a mobilization alert, struck a 2.5-year-old boy. At that moment, the child had wandered away from his father, with whom he had been standing on the road. After the accident, the driver left the scene.
