In Kherson, 100,000 hryvnias were allocated for special reconnaissance vehicles

In Kherson, 100,000 hryvnias from the municipal budget were allocated for the maintenance and repair of the motor vehicles belonging to the special reconnaissance unit of a military unit.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, which analyzed amendments to the 2026 budget of the Kherson City Territorial Community.

The funds were allocated as a subsidy from the municipal budget to the state budget. The document states that the recipient is a military unit, the number of which is partially redacted in the published document.

The money is to be used for the maintenance and repair of vehicles belonging to the special reconnaissance unit of this military unit.

The corresponding amendments to the budget were made by Order No. 1191r of the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration dated September 11. The formal justification for its adoption was the receipt by the municipality of an educational subsidy from the state budget; however, the document also provides for a number of other reallocations of funds.

Recently, the Kherson City Military Administration amended the program for the protection of the population and territories against emergencies for 2026–2028. The total funding amounts to 503.99 million hryvnias.

Previously, Kherson reallocated 419 million to municipalutilities. At that time, the adjustments were made to the budget program designed to support the operations of enterprises, institutions, and organizations in the housing and utilities sector.
