Additional routes to cemeteries launched in Mykolaiv

On April 18 and 19, public transportation to city cemeteries will be increased in Mykolaiv. The changes are being introduced for the period of memorial days to reduce the workload and reduce waiting time for passengers.
According to the Mykolaiv City Council, Mykolaivpastrans and Mykolaivelectrotrans will increase the number of vehicles on key routes.
In particular, trolleybuses No. 8 (Budivelnykiv Street - Matviyivka) will run on a special schedule for convenient access to Matviyivka Cemetery.

On April 19, bus #79 will run according to a changed schedule from 08:00 to 16:00: Varvarovka - Peremohy Square - Bashtanske Highway - Elektronna Street - Central Cemetery (Automobile Street) and back. Before 08:00 and after 16:00, it will run on the regular route to Velam. On this day, the route #48 will temporarily not work, as its function is duplicated by #79.
In addition, bus #91 will run from 09:00 to 15:30 to the Cemetery stop in Balabanivka, and additional transport will be added to the #46 route.
The city authorities emphasize that the changes will be effective only on April 18 and 19.
As a reminder, fares for city electric transport may rise in Mykolaiv. The municipal enterprise Mykolaivelectrotrans submitted a proposal to the executive committee to raise the tariff.
As Intent previously reported, a new trolleybus route No. 14 "Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi - Kazarskoho Street" will soon appear in Mykolaiv.
In addition, Mykolaiv will receive 40 tramcars from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. These are M29 trams, which were previously used in the Swedish urban transportation system.
In December 2025, tram service was resumed in Mykolaiv on the route No. 3, ChSZ - 10th Military. Electric vehicles are running again according to their usual schedule.
