A landslide buried a man in Odesa

In Odesa, a slope collapsed at the 16th station of the Fountain. As a result, a man was trapped under falling rocks.

People nearby tried to clear the debris and rescue the victim. According to the State Emergency Service, the man was pulled from under the rubble before rescuers arrived and handed over to medical personnel.
In 2023, a 10-year-old boy died in the village of Fontanka, Odesa Oblast, dueto a landslide. The child died before the ambulance and rescue workers arrived. The boy was pulled from the rubble by his relatives, who had heard a loud rumbling.
In June 2024, rescuers from the State Emergency Service pulled a 59-year-old man fromunder a landslide inthe village of Sanzhiyka, Odesa Oblast.
