According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Odesa region showed excellent results in the development of digital services and initiatives. The region was ranked third out of 24 regions surveyed.

To determine the level of digital transformation, experts evaluated 9 key indicators:

  • Implementation of electronic document management
  • Accessibility of online education
  • Digital representation of the region
  • Use of electronic services

  • Special projects of regional digital teams

This year, a special emphasis was placed on individual projects so that each region could determine its own priorities. A total of 125 digital initiatives were implemented in 2024, many of which have spread to other regions. For example, the creation of training centers for drone operators.

As a result, Odesa region, along with Lviv and Dnipro regions, became one of the three leaders in digital transformation. The region is actively developing technologies that facilitate public services, improve Internet access, and improve the quality of life of its residents.
