Separate: Constitution Day and embroidery as a state of mind

Smiles, flags, balloons and embroidered shirts. Rozdilna celebrated Constitution Day in an intimate and new way.

The day before the holiday, a small announcement appeared on the city's Internet portal: let's celebrate together. And on June 28, the square in front of the administration was covered with embroidered shirts, yellow and blue balloons, and flags. Of course, Rozdilna is not Odesa, but the request for an embroidered mini-fest was made.

People talked about the main milestones in the creation of the Constitution of Ukraine, remembered Pylyp Orlyk and Hetman Skoropadskyi, listened to "Plyve Kacha..." with tears in their eyes and remembered the dead, sang the national anthem and Ukrainian songs, and chanted with pleasure "Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to Heroes!", "Glory to the Nation! - Death to Enemies!".

It was not crowded, but it was beautiful, cheerful, and somehow cozy and intimate.

The city and district administrations were not present at the celebration. By long-established tradition, they prefer to celebrate public holidays during working hours: a small rally and concert after the leaders' trip to the opera house took place on Friday, June 27.

At the end of the celebration, balloons with the flag flew into the sky in embroidered shirts, symbolizing love for their country and the desire for freedom. The participants decided to repeat the meeting on Independence Day and bring as many friends as possible.

And on the eve of Constitution Day, the stele at the entrance to the city shone with national colors, and this was done by activists on their own initiative and by their own efforts.
