The Verkhovna Rada has approved a new list of Ukrainian ministers

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the list of ministers proposed by the new Prime Minister,Serhiy Koretsky.

The list was supported by 264 deputies.

Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers will now consist of the following:

  • Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine;
  • Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Humanitarian Policy – Minister of Culture of Ukraine;
  • Vsevolod Chentsov, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine;
  • Vitaliy Bezgin, Minister of Communities, Territories, and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine;
  • Vitaliy Kim, Minister of Veterans’ Affairs;
  • Matviy Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine;
  • Andriy Butenko, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • Ivan Vygivsky, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
  • Taras Vysotsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine;
  • Mykola Kalashnyk, Minister of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine;
  • Oleksandr Kravchenko, Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine;
  • Viktor Lyashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine;
  • Serhiy Marchenko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine;
  • Denis Maslov, Minister of Justice of Ukraine;
  • Denis Ulyutin, Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine;
  • Oksana Ferchuk, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada voted to appoint Serhiy Koretsky as Prime Minister of Ukraine. During his address to the Verkhovna Rada,Koretsky statedthat the government under his leadership would focus on three key areas: national defense, economic development, and European integration. Koretsky listedthe country’s preparations for the upcoming heating season, support for Ukrainian businesses, strengthening cooperation with international partners, the effective use of international aid, and advancing Ukraine’s pathtoward European Union membership among the government’s top priorities.
