An official responsible for accessibility issues has been appointed in the Kherson region. Anton Samoilenko, deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, will coordinate this area of work.

This was announced by the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The commissioner will be responsible for implementing accessibility policies in the region, cooperation with communities, businesses, institutions, organizations, and the public, and will also review appeals, suggestions, and reports regarding barriers that prevent people from accessing facilities, services, information, and opportunities.

Residents of the Kherson region can contact the commissioner with suggestions, comments, and reports about barriers that prevent access to facilities, services, information, education, employment, or participation in community life.

Earlier, the Kherson Regional Defense Council decided to add the villages of Krasnopilskoye and Charivne in the Borozenske community to the list of areas subject to mandatory evacuation. This decision was prompted by the expansion of the area affected by enemy shelling.

In these settlements, there will now also be a ban on families with children entering due to the threat to their lives. Law enforcement officers, rescue workers, and social services will conduct outreach efforts with residents.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian occupiers had received orders to carry out so-called“free hunting”of vehicles in the Kherson region. To carry out their terrorist plans, they have increased the presence of their drone units in the region.
