On April 7, Rulan Pitak, who was previously the first deputy head of the Odesa District State Administration, began to act as the head of the Podil District State Administration in Odesa Oblast.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the Podil community.

Ruslan Pitak was already in charge of this administration in 2017-2020, when in 2018 the then President Petro Poroshenko transferred him to Podilsk from the Tatarbunary district administration.
In 2020, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi dismissed Ruslan Pitak from the post of head of the Podil District Administration.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree dismissing the head of the Podil District Military Administration in Odesa Oblast, Mykhailo Lazarenko , in March. The decree states that the president accepted the resignation of the head of the RMA. On March 11, members of the Podil District Council unanimously expressed no confidence in the head of the district administration, Mykhailo Lazarenko, in a secret ballot. His dismissal became the subject of a criminal investigation due to a forged statement. The session of the Podilskyi District Council of Odesa Region gathered 33 deputies who unanimously voted to pass a motion of no confidence in Chairman Lazarenko.
Prior to that, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the dismissal of Lazarenko , the head of the Podil District Military Administration of Odesa Region, based on his resignation letter, which turned out to be a fake. A criminal proceeding has now been registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - forgery of documents. The reason was an alleged statement by Mykhailo Lazarenko, in which the handwritten text and signature were found to be forged.
