Odessa plans to consider a decision to provide at least 255 compensation payments to victims of Russian attacks.

This was reported by the press office of the Odessa City Council.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Odessa City Council will take place on July 23 at 11:00 a.m.

Most of the agenda consists of issues regarding the payment of compensation to owners of homes destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian attacks.

In total, Executive Committee members are set to review 255 compensation decisions. Of these, 45 pertain to completely destroyed properties, and another 210 to damaged homes.

The Khadzhibey District Administration submitted the most applications for compensation for destroyed property— 36 decisions. The Peresyp District Administration issued five more decisions, the Primorsk District Administration issued three, and the Kyiv District Administration issued one. In addition, the Peresyp District Administration proposes to update the composition of the commission that reviews compensation claims for destroyed housing.

A separate section of the agenda includes 210 decisions by the Department of Urban Development regarding the provision of compensation for damaged real estate. All of these are based on the decisions of the relevant commission dated July 13, 2026.

In addition to compensation, the executive committee plans to consider a number of other issues. In particular, the Department of Labor and Social Policy will propose to grant or deny assistance in resolving housing issues for internally displaced persons who have left the temporarily occupied territories.

Officials will also consider the privatization of the city’s stake in the authorized capital of the radio company “Radio-Odesa,” adjustments to water supply and wastewater disposal rates for the “Infoksvodokanal” branch, as well as the approval of new schemes for the placement of outdoor advertising and the revocation of certain advertising permits.
