Chornomorsk has canceled military benefits for property rentals

The Chornomorsk City Council has repealed military rent exemptions for municipal property. According to the draft resolution, the return to full rent will take effect on October 1.
Council members unanimously adopted this decision at an extraordinary session.
Thus, the city council has repealed the resolution dated January 31, 2023, which provided for discounts and rent exemptions for the duration of the war. The Department of Municipal Property and Land Relations will notify all property holders in writing of the new requirements.
The changes were initiated by the municipal enterprise “Rainbow.” The main goal of this move is the efficient use of municipal property and replenishment of the community budget.
As previously reported by Intent, tariffs for centralized water supply and wastewater disposal were changed inChornomorsk starting October 2. The new rate for residents will be 94.98 hryvnia per cubic meter. The Chornomorsk City Council’s executive committee adopted the corresponding resolution on October 2.
Of this amount, 59.46 hryvnia covers water supply, and 35.52 hryvnia covers wastewater disposal. These rates will apply to all consumers in the “residential” category.
Higher, economically justified rates have been set for other consumers. Water supply will cost 59.46 hryvnia per cubic meter, and wastewater disposal will cost 52.26 hryvnia. For enterprises in the water supply and wastewater disposal sectors, both services will cost 29.88 hryvnia per cubic meter.
