S vitlana Fedorova , a deputy from the banned Nash Krai party, and Vladyslav Nevesely, a deputy from the Servant of the People party, resigned their seats early .
The respective decisions were approved by the deputies at the twenty-seventh extraordinary session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council.
Svitlana Fedorova explained her resignation from the council by saying that it was unacceptable for her to work with the current leadership, which, according to her, demonstrates complete inaction, corruption and evasion of mobilization.
"This means closing dozens of hospitals, closing educational institutions, regional boarding schools, orphanages and schools. Dismissal of staff, election of managers without competitions," the MP said before the session.
Vladyslav Neveselyi, in turn, did not explain his decision to resign.
Earlier at this session, the deputies of Mykolaiv Regional Council agreed to take over seven vocational schools from the state to their balance sheet. Today, the regional council actually finances the educational process, which is more than 163 million hryvnias, but has no ability to dispose of the property of the institutions.
Before that, the deputies approved new directions for the development of Mykolaiv region. They identified the creation of a transport and logistics hub with a developed port infrastructure, the development of the "blue economy," alternative energy sources, and an innovative agro-industrial complex. The relevant draft decision was supported by 43 deputies and only one abstained.
At the last session, the deputies supported the appointment of two deputy chairmen of the regional council, Anton Tabunschyk. Ihor Shcherbyna and Denys Andriiev were elected as deputies. In addition, Khrystyna Malysh and Olha Ostapchuk, who previously represented the banned Nash Krai party, joined the deputy corps. They replaced Yuriy Kormyshkin and Oleh Malyarenko, who resigned their seats.
