Mykolaiv deputies plan to liquidate college and reorganize hospitals

A session has been convened in Mykolaiv to consider more than 200 issues. The agenda includes the termination of the municipal academic college, the reorganization of medical institutions, and an environmental project to reconstruct the water supply.
The relevant order was signed by Mayor Oleksandra Senkevych.
The Mayor of Mykolaiv has convened the 45th session of the Mykolaiv City Council, which will be held on June 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the format of a video conference with online broadcast. Intent will traditionally broadcast the meeting online.
The agenda includes more than 200 issues, including 1 budget, 177 land and 26 current issues.
Among the issues to be considered by the deputies is the termination of the Mykolaiv Municipal Academic College. The deputies will also consider the council's work plan for the second half of 2025, an appeal to improve the network of lyceums and the issue of increasing the authorized capital of the municipal enterprise.
Particular attention will be paid to reforming the city's housing and communal services for 2025-2029 and reorganizing a number of municipal medical institutions, including maternity hospital No. 3, city children's hospital No. 2, and primary health care centers No. 1 and No. 7.
The deputies also have to approve the customer for the implementation of an environmental project from the Danish government with the support of the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO), which provides for the reconstruction of the water supply system in a selected area of the city under the Green Recovery Program "Revenue-Free Water".
The decision to increase the authorized capital of the municipal enterprise"Parks" to UAH 100 million will be submitted to the city council again. The initial capital has increased from UAH 1 million to UAH 100 million, and compared to the last project, the amount has increased from UAH 80 million to UAH 100 million.
Mykolaiv can also receive a grant of up to 7.2 million euros to install individual heating points and improve energy efficiency in residential buildings. Earlier, the commission approved an agreement with NEFCO to implement other energy efficiency projects.
