On February 27, a meeting of the XIX extraordinary session of the Kherson Regional Council was held. The deputies considered a number of important issues related to municipal property and the work of medical and educational institutions.

This was reported on the website of the Kherson Regional Council.

The regional council decided to transfer real estate from the joint ownership of the region's territorial communities to the communal ownership of the Kalynivka village community.

In addition, the deputies granted the Vysokopil Lyceum the right to operationally manage real estate and use land plots. Also, the municipal institution Beryslav Medical Professional College was granted consent to amend its registration data.

The meeting approved the handover certificate of the Kherson Regional Children's Pulmonary Sanatorium Dnipro and updated the charters of two key medical institutions - Kherson Children's Regional Clinical Hospital and Kherson Regional Cancer Center.

The deputies also authorized the acceptance of three medical vehicles into the joint ownership of the region's communities, which will be assigned to the Kherson Regional Cancer Center.

The session of the regional council decided to write off the property of the Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Care, Kherson Cancer Center and Regional Clinical Hospital that is no longer in use. This will help to upgrade the material and technical base of medical institutions.

The decisions are aimed at efficient use of property and improvement of the work of educational and medical institutions in the region.

It should be noted that the Kherson Regional Council session is not broadcast online.

Recently, at an extraordinary session, the Mykolaiv Regional Council decided to support President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. The vote was unanimous - 40 deputies voted in favor.

In turn , Anatoliy Boyko, head of the Odesa regional organization of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, said in a comment to Intent that in this case, the form of voting does not matter, because the decision itself has no legal consequences:

"This decision of the Mykolaiv regional council is purely political and has no legal significance, so in this case the form of the regional council session, where the presence of deputies was not shown, is also irrelevant," the expert explained.- "At the same time, I would like to note that local councils should move away from the practice of holding online meetings, except for Kherson, where another form of meetings is impossible.
