The head of the Odesa Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise has resigned, and the regional council has already prepared a corresponding order.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, in an interview with Novyny.LIVE.

According to him, he initiated the dismissal of the head even before the scandal with fake disability certificates from prosecutors.

"I initiated the change of the head of the MSEC, even before it all reached the state level. I checked the center and was surprised by the lack of normal conditions in the premises and the disregard for the military. So far, we have checked six hospitals and there are definitely violations," said the head of the DIA.

It should be noted that in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions, six dozen prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability. In Odesa region, 47 prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability. This is 9.5% of the total number of prosecutors working there. Meanwhile, in Mykolaiv region, only 12 prosecutors, or 4.5% of the total number, have this status.

In Kherson region, only 1 prosecutor has received the status of a person with a disability. This is 0.6% of the total number of working prosecutors.

Meanwhile, on October 22, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announced that he was resigning from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine due to the facts of abuse in the system of prosecution bodies of Ukraine.

The Prosecutor General said that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council regarding the immoral situation with fake disabilities of government officials.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officers searched the homes of the head of the Mykolaiv Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) and her son as part of an investigation into a mobilization evasion scheme. During the searches, $450,000 in cash and a collection of jewelry were seized.

The woman hid the jewelry at different addresses. Law enforcement officers found the bulk of the money and jewelry in her son's apartment. He is an intern at a medical school and has Russian citizenship, which was confirmed during the search - his Russian passport, which he received before the war at the Russian Consulate General in Odesa, was seized.
