Prosecutors of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to court against a 48-year-old resident of the village of Kizomys. She is accused of collaboration and aiding and abetting the aggressor state (Part 3 of Article 111-1, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the woman headed the seized vocational education institution, which the invaders renamed Kherson Vocational School No. 2. In this position, she organized the registration of the institution in the Russian registers, ensured the transfer of property under the control of the occupation administration and established the payment of wages to employees in rubles.

Under the leadership of the accused, the educational institution completely switched to the rules of the aggressor state. In particular, the document flow and the educational process were translated into Russian, and textbooks of Russian publishers were used for teaching. The curricula were formed exclusively according to the standards of the Russian Federation, and in September 2022, the school began working under these programs.

Since the defendant is currently a fugitive from justice and is wanted, the trial will be held in absentia. The special pre-trial investigation in this case was conducted by investigators of the SBU Office in Kherson region.

Earlier, under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Region Prosecutor's Office, another resident of the region was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of aiding the occupying state (Part 1 of Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In this position, the collaborator began the process of integrating the school into the Russian educational system and registered the institution in the occupation register. In particular, she searched for pedagogical and technical staff to work according to Russian standards using Russian as the official language. She confiscated all Ukrainian-language literature and textbooks, and replaced state symbols with hostile ones.
