ARMA has begun the search for a manager for the seized Russian-owned hotel in Odesa

A professional manager is being sought for the seized "Mozart" hotel in Odesa, which was previously owned by Russians.

This was reported by the press service of the Agency for the Search and Management of Assets (ARMA).

The hotel is located in the historic part of Odesa, in a building designated as an architectural landmark dating back to 1870. The Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater is located nearby.

The asset includes an operating hotel and restaurant complex, which, according to ARMA’s assessment, has significant tourism and investment potential.

The hotel was seized and transferred to ARMA’s management by court order. According to the investigation, the actual owners of the asset were citizens of the Russian Federation.

ARMA noted that it is seeking a professional manager who will ensure the asset’s effective operation, preserve its economic value, and contribute to revenue generation for the state budget.

Transferring such assets to ARMA’s management allows for preserving their value, ensuring proper operation, and utilizing them in the state’s best interests, the agency added.

As reported by Intent, the Odesa hotel was owned, through proxies, by Russian businessman Igor Akivison —the owner of factories and companies in St. Petersburg. In Odesa, he owned several hotels under the Mozart Hotel Group brand.

Back in June 2025, ARMA began searching for managers for three hotel complexes in Odesa—“Mozart,” “OK Odesa,” and “Arkadia.” At that time, the agency conducted market consultations prior to the subsequent selection of managers.
