In 2024, the budgets of Mykolaiv region were replenished by more than UAH nine billion. Most of the revenues came from taxes on individual entrepreneurs' income, land and real estate fees, and excise taxes.

This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region.

In 2024, local budgets were filled by almost UAH 9.7 billion. This is UAH 2.1 billion more than in 2023, excluding personal income tax revenues from military personnel, which have been transferred to the state budget since the fourth quarter of 2023.

The main source of revenues is personal income tax (PIT), which accounts for 67% of total revenues. In 2024, local budgets received about UAH 6.5 billion of this tax.

Other significant revenues include:

  • The single tax paid by entrepreneurs and farmers in Mykolaiv region amounted to UAH 1.6 billion;
  • Land payments brought UAH 983 million to local communities;
  • Real estate tax - UAH 209.8 million;
  • Excise tax - UAH 163.4 million;
  • Income tax - UAH 65.4 million;
  • Rent - UAH 57.1 million;
  • License fees - UAH 29.5 million;
  • Environmental tax - UAH 18 million.

The press service noted that the high level of tax culture in Mykolaiv region will contribute to a stable flow of funds to local budgets. These funds are used to develop communities, restore infrastructure, meet social and economic needs, and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in bringing victory closer.

In September last year, taxpayers of Mykolaiv region allocated almost UAH 600 million to support the Ukrainian army and strengthen the country's defense capabilities. This is UAH 25 million more than in the same period last year.

The tax authorities also published the number of millionaires in Mykolaiv region. The main sources of income for millionaires are foreign income and profits from the sale of movable and immovable property. There were 303 millionaires, 190 more than last year.

In October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a bill to increase taxes. The adopted document, in particular, did not provide for an increase in the military tax for the military. More than 1,300 amendments were submitted to the document.
