Ministry of Infrastructure announces tender for Chornomorsk port concession

The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine has announced a tender for a concession project for the first and container terminals in the port of Chornomorsk - the Universal and Grain Sea Terminals.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
According to the Ministry, the concession object is
- existing property (including real estate and movable property) on the balance sheet of the state enterprise Sea Commercial Port of Chornomorsk within the Universal Sea Terminal and the Grain Sea Terminal in the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, 6, Pratsy Street;
- existing property (including immovable, movable property and berths No. 1-6) on the balance sheet of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority" within the Universal Sea Terminal and the Grain Sea Terminal of the State Enterprise;
- property created or constructed by the concessionaire in the course of the concession agreement (including newly constructed real estate and movable property to be acquired by the concessionaire in accordance with the terms of the concession agreement).
The concession term will be 40 years.
In April, a delegation of the Ministry of Communities and Territorial Development took part in the Investment Conference on the implementation of the concession project in the port of Chornomorsk in Odesa region, which took place in Warsaw.
In 2022, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced its intention to concession three facilities owned by the state-owned enterprise Sea Commercial Port of Chornomorsk.
Earlier, the ministry announced plans to hold four or six concession tenders in 2022 at the Chornomorsk, Odesa, Izmail, and Berdiansk seaports.
