The Antimonopoly Committee has found signs of collusion in the bidding for road repairs in Voznesensk.

This was reported by the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the AMCU.

They explained that they had launched an investigation on suspicion of violating the legislation on protection of economic competition. The suspects are Dorgrand LLC and sole proprietor Oganesyan M.O., who participated in a tender for the maintenance of asphalt concrete road pavement announced by the Department of Housing and Capital Construction of the Voznesensk City Council in 2021.

During the preliminary investigation, the antimonopoly authority found possible signs of collusion between bidders, which could lead to a distortion of the procurement results.

Due to these circumstances, the administrative board decided to initiate a formal review of the case.

The AMCU believes that this investigation may reveal serious violations that negatively affect economic competition in public procurement.

In September, antitrust authorities suspected collusion among bidders in a public procurement of heat meters for Mykolaivoblteploenergo.

Recently, the company was fined in Mykolaiv for misrepresenting the results of the auction held on Prozorro. In addition to falsifying the auction results, the company is accused of failing to provide information and obstructing the investigation of antitrust authorities.

Antimonopoly authorities also found collusion between Blahoustriy-NK and individual entrepreneur A.M. Yakovenko during the tender. It was about repairing a green zone on a street in Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv in 2019. The cost of the work was estimated at almost UAH 5.8 million. The investigation showed that these participants acted in concert to distort the results of the tender.
