Odesa-born singer Tatyana Amirova, who performs under the pseudonym Golda, has signed a contract with the American recording studio 10K Projects, a division of Atlantic Music Group.

According to the singer, she is officially the first Ukrainian Jewish artist to do so.

"Thank you to everyone who has been with me along the way. I dedicate this milestone to my hometown and my country," the singer said.

Golda (Tatyana Amirova) is a singer-songwriter, ambassador of Jewish culture, author of the musical Yiddish Jazz Show, and a finalist of The Voice. In June 2022, she moved from Odesa to London to escape the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine; she moved to Odesa from Kyiv the same year. However, the singer was born and raised in Odesa. Then Golda traveled to Europe by car through Moldova. She visited Latvia, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Israel, and eventually ended up in London.

Meanwhile, in the center of Odesa on April 17, people were talking about a figure who was ahead of his time and left behind one of the first European constitutions. The story of Pylyp Orlyk was brought to life through facts, little-known details, and human traits that are rarely mentioned in textbooks. During the lecture, Olena Bachynska spoke in detail about the figure of Pylyp Orlyk, the hetman who led the Cossack state in exile for more than thirty years and fought tirelessly for Ukraine's independence.

Also in April, Odesa hosted an advocacy meeting "Museums and Audiences: Communication, Partnerships, Expectations," which brought together representatives of cultural institutions, media, education, the public sector, and the government. Participants discussed how museums can adapt to new wartime challenges and effectively interact with their audiences.
