The Security Service of Ukraine announced that it has charged Lyudmila Aleynik, a 42-year-old native of Crimea, with collaborating voluntarily with the occupying forces. She currently serves as deputy head of the illegal tax service in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The woman has also been served with summonses to appear on October 5, 2026, October 7, 2026, and October 9, 2026.

For holding a position in the occupying law enforcement agency and conducting propaganda and executive activities in the blockaded city of Skadovsk, the suspect faces up to 15 years in prison.

The case file notes that while serving in the occupiers’ agency, Lyudmyla Volodymyrivna Aleinik explained to citizens the rules for calculating taxes, claiming tax deductions, and using cash register equipment. She also coordinated the work schedule and meetings of the head of the regional occupation administration and prepared materials for meetings, sessions, and business trips.

The suspect also monitored how the tax service’s structural units carried out operational orders and directives from the head of the office. L.V. Aleynik’s official duties also included representing the agency in the regional media.

The suspect was born on January 14, 1984, in the village of Chaikine, Simferopol District.
