The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the decision to confiscate two luxury cars used by the family of Serhiy Korak, the former head of the District Territorial Control Center and Joint Venture in the Odesa region. The assets, valued at nearly two million hryvnias, were deemed to have been acquired without proper justification.
This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court issued the corresponding ruling on November 5, 2026. Thus, the panel of judges upheld the High Anti-Corruption Court’s previous decision dated April 3, 2026.
The decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court’s Appeals Chamber took legal effect upon its announcement. The ruling may be appealed to the Civil Court of Cassation.

The subject of the legal dispute was two SUVs: a 2022 “Toyota C-HR HYBRID” valued at 1.38 million hryvnias and a 2021 “Toyota C-HR” valued at over 564,000 hryvnias.
Although the vehicles were officially registered in the names of close relatives of Serhiy Korak, the former head of the Kropyvnytskyi District Military Registration and Enlistment Office ( ), prosecutors proved that the official himself, either directly or indirectly, could have taken actions equivalent in substance to exercising the right of disposal. At the same time, neither the military commissar himself nor his close relatives had the official financial means or confirmed income to purchase property of such value.
As reported by Intent, in April, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine granted the prosecutor’s claim and ruled that the assets used by the family of Serhiy Korak, the former head of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District Military Registration and Enlistment Office, were of unjustified origin.
