The Antimonopoly Committee found violations in the work of the Domanivka Village Council and the utility companies of Bashtanka and Novyi Buh, including incorrect tariffs and incomplete information. The violators were issued recommendations and fined.
This was reported by the press service of the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the AMCU.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine found violations in the activities of the Domanivka village council and utilities in Mykolaiv region.
In December 2024, the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the AMCU recommended that the Domanivka Council change the procedure for placing outdoor advertising, which did not comply with the law. In May 2025, the village council made the necessary adjustments and stopped the violation.
In addition, the antimonopoly authorities launched an investigation into Dobrobut Municipal Enterprise of the Bashtanka City Council for unjustified inclusion of 20% VAT in the tariff for funeral services of digging graves by mechanical means. This company is a monopolist in this area in Bashtanka, and this practice restricts the rights of consumers. The case is ongoing, and the actions of the Executive Committee of the Bashtanka City Council are also being checked.
Also in June 2025, the AMCU fined sole proprietor Smola A.G. UAH 9,678 for incomplete submission of information at the request of the committee. Dobrobut, a utility company of the Novobuzka City Council, was fined more than UAH 40,000 for refusing to provide information.
At the end of May, the Antimonopoly Committee fined two construction companies, Hospodar-2 LLC and VBK Alpha LLC, for collusion in tenders in Mykolaiv region. They now face a ban on participation in public procurement for up to three years. The violations were discovered during an investigation that began in December 2024 after analyzing questionable tenders held by the Syniukhino-Brid village council and the Mykolaiv Housing and Maintenance Department.
In addition, in January, the committee provided recommendations to the executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council due to possible violations of competition law in the field of passenger transportation on city bus routes.
