Odesa region amended the agreement on the supply of school buses for 87 million

On September 6, the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional State Administration amended the agreement with the Etalon Auto Trading House Limited Liability Company, which won the tender for the supply of school buses.
As noted in the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the agreement was signed on August 27, according to the Center for Public Investigations.
In particular, the amendments specify that out of UAH 30 million 566 thousand to be paid by the local budget, UAH 29 million 130 thousand is to be paid by local communities, and UAH 1 million 436 thousand is to be paid by the regional budget. Another 56 million 430 thousand hryvnias are funds allocated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the purchase of school buses. They are provided for in the state budget.
The bus supplier was selected at a full-fledged auction, in which three other companies took part in addition to the winner: Bas Auto Limited Liability Company, Zhytomyr-Auto LLC, and Cherkasy Bus Joint Stock Company. The offer of Etalon Auto LLC was the most favorable of all. The company agreed to supply buses for UAH 86 million 996 thousand.
In total, the department plans to purchase 25 regular school buses and one equipped with two seats for students with reduced mobility.
In June 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the allocation of funds from the state to local budgets for the purchase of school buses. Out of the billion hryvnias allocated by the Cabinet of Ministers, Odesa region was to receive UAH 56 million 734 thousand, Kherson region - UAH 6 million 615 thousand, and Mykolaiv region - UAH 43 million 14 thousand.
Last year, the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional State (Military) Administration signed an agreement with the Etalon Auto Trading House LLC for the supply of 28 school buses for a total of over UAH 82 million.
Theagreement was signed on July 10, and the buses are to be delivered to the hub schools of 28 territorial communities that have allocated one million hryvnias from their budgets for this purchase.
