The Cabinet of Ministers has regulated the mechanism for promoting the employment of internally displaced persons

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 696 dated 08.09.2015 approved the Procedure for implementation of employment promotion measures and refund of funds allocated for financing such measures in case of violation of employment guarantees for internally displaced persons

The document was adopted pursuant to Article 24-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Employment of the Population" and defines the conditions and mechanism for the implementation of employment promotion measures by district, city, district in cities and city-district employment centers for IDPs.

The measures to promote employment include

These measures are funded within the validity period of the IDP registration certificate. In case of its expiration, funding is suspended and resumed after the term is extended.

The Resolution also defines a mechanism for employers to return funds in case of violation of employment guarantees for IDPs. The document does not apply to employers that are budgetary institutions.
