After the occupation of Crimea, Forver and his family moved to mainland Ukraine, and with the outbreak of a full-scale war, he voluntarily joined the Defense Forces. His comrades-in-arms recognize his courage and steadfastness in the struggle for the freedom of Ukraine and the liberation of his native Crimea.

The man participated in combat operations as part of an assault unit in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

In January 2025, his group came under massive fire near Pokrovsk. Forver managed to save four of his comrades, but he was fatally wounded. He is survived by three minor children.

Due to the occupation of Crimea, the full name of the Hero has not yet been disclosed. However, his feat, like the feats of all Crimeans fighting for the freedom and territorial integrity of Ukraine, will never be forgotten.

Earlier, the state posthumously awarded servicemen Ivan Lysenko, Volodymyr Osinnyi, and Oleksandr Savelyev, who died in an unequal battle in Buzkovyi Park on March 1, 2022, when the Russian army captured Kherson, with the Order of Courage, III class.

In addition, at the end of December last year, the fallen soldier from Mykolaiv region was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine for saving more than 50 people, including children. The man was killed on August 18, 2022, during the shelling of the position where he was stationed.

Also in the Snihuriv community of Mykolaiv region, the only son of the fallen junior sergeant Artem Vanin, Tymofii, received the Order for Courage, III degree, which was posthumously awarded to his father.
