Activists of the Yellow Ribbon public movement held a protest in Simferopol and Yalta, distributing pro-Ukrainian posters and yellow ribbons. They emphasized that Crimeans do not accept the Russian occupation and are waiting for Ukraine's return.

This was reported by members of the Yellow Ribbon public movement.

The activists held a new action of resistance in Simferopol and Yalta in the occupied Crimea. The activists announced this on April 7 on their Telegram channel.

Whatever the actions of the occupiers, symbols of resistance appear again and again throughout the peninsula. The population of Crimea does not accept the Russian occupation and is waiting for Ukraine. And it will definitely wait!" emphasized the coordinators of the Yellow Ribbon.

The movement has distributed pro-Ukrainian posters and yellow ribbons at public transport stops, near pro-Russian murals on Kirova and Skvoznaya streets in Simferopol, and near the palace of Count Mordvinov in Yalta.

In early March, activists distributed pro-Ukrainian posters and symbols of resistance in Simferopol, Yalta and Dzhankoy. "TheYellow Ribbon is a resistance movement of Ukrainians in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia, and, according to the organizers, the number of underground activists already exceeds several thousand and is constantly growing.

The community in Crimea, particularly in Simferopol, Yalta, Yevpatoria, and Feodosia, is one of the most active, and recently residents of smaller towns such as Simeiz and Balaklava have joined them.

Ukraine recently marked the anniversary of the Crimean resistance: On February 26, 2014, thousands of people came to the Supreme Council of Crimea to defend the peninsula's right to remain part of Ukraine.

In April, a film about the struggle and love of Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev and his wife will premiere, revealing their resilience in exile and repression, drawing attention to dignity and justice.
