INFOX Limited Liability Company, whose branch Infoksvodokanal supplies water to Odesa, has announced its intention to change tariffs for centralized water supply and centralized sewerage.

According to the company's press service, during the period of tariffs for the population in 2022-2025, the cost of electricity, reagents and fuel, which account for most of the company's expenses, has changed significantly, the minimum wage has increased, tax rates and the cost of services of other organizations have risen.

All of this leads to an increase in the cost of water supply and causes water prices to rise. The tariffs should be changed as follows: now Odesa residents pay UAH 17.9 per cubic meter of water (including VAT), and after the tariff revision they will actually pay UAH 51, which will increase by 184.5%. Consumers who are business entities in the areas of centralized water supply and sewerage will pay UAH 21.9 per cubic meter instead of the current UAH 15.8.

Odesa residents currently pay 17.2 hryvnias for sewage, and will pay 42.7 hryvnias, which is 147.6% more.

According to the Infoksvodokanal, the reasons that led to the rise in water prices were that during the first four months of 2026, prices for electricity and fuel and lubricants increased significantly, and changes were made to the Sectoral Agreement, which determines the minimum hourly wage rate for a first-class worker. There was also a need to carry out repairs related to the damage caused by shelling from the Russian Federation and the floods of September 30, 2025.
