War on infrastructure: Kherson city cut off power due to Russian missiles

On the morning of July 1, the Korabel neighborhood in Kherson was cut off from electricity due to Russian shelling.

According to Yaroslav Shanko, the head of Kherson MVA, power engineers are making every effort to restore power supply as soon as possible.

"However, this is a long process that depends, among other things, on the security situation," said the head of the administration.

He added that until the situation in the power grid stabilizes, water will be supplied to the townspeople according to the schedule: from 07:00 to 09:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00.

In total, over the past day, Russians shelled 34 localities in Kherson region, including Kherson and nearby villages. The attacks killed 2 people and injured 5 others.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, over the past day, June 30, Russian troops shelled and carried out air strikes on 13 settlements in Kherson region, including the city of Kherson and 12 villages and towns: Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Vysuntsi, Poniativka, Vysoke, Odradokamyanka, Shlyakhove, Zolota Balka, Burgunka, Mykilske, and Chervonyi Mayak.

The occupants targeted residential areas, damaging 3 high-rise buildings and 8 private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a warehouse and private cars.

In the morning, the Russian army shelled Komyshany. A 47-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack. At around 11:00, Russians attacked the Central district of Kherson with a drone. One vehicle burned down and another was damaged as a result of the attack. A 51-year-old man is also in the hospital with shrapnel wounds to his back and burns to his legs.

At around 15:00, Russian military attacked Kherson from a UAV. Two men, aged 66 and 62, sustained explosive injuries as a result of the drone's explosive drop.

People who had suffered from Russian shelling the day before also turned to the hospital. A resident of Kherson who suffered from a Russian drone attack on June 27. The 54-year-old man has an explosive injury, contusion and concussion. Two residents of Bilozerka who suffered from Russian attacks last week. A 68-year-old man, whose house was hit by an enemy shell on June 22, was diagnosed with an explosive injury and contusion. Another victim is a 66-year-old woman whose house was shelled by Russians the day before. As a result, she sustained an explosive injury, concussion and contusion.

In addition, it became known that a resident of the Kherson region was killed in a Russian attack on June 29. In the evening, the enemy shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson, resulting in fatal injuries to a 67-year-old woman.
