Recently, the Voznesenska Hromada in Mykolaiv Oblast discussed the first draft of an adult education development program. The method of "Swedish circles" can be an effective tool for intensifying the educational process in the community.

According to the Voznesensk City Council, special attention was paid to the development of adult education based on the "equal to equal" principle.

"As an example of successful implementation of this approach, they considered the experience of 'Swedish circles' where participants teach each other, share knowledge and experience in an informal atmosphere," the city council explained.

The participants of the meeting also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the developments that resulted from the previous work and make their recommendations for further improvement of the program. One of the key aspects of the discussion was the need to establish close cooperation with other adult education centers in Ukraine. Participants emphasized the importance of sharing experiences and curricula, which would allow not only to improve their own approaches but also to learn best practices from other communities and organizations.

In addition, the participants discussed the need for introductory career guidance events for young people.

"Such events will help young people find their vocation, develop skills, and see prospects for self-development through education," the statement said.

The next step will be to finalize the program with all the recommendations made.

"We believe that by working together we can create an effective adult education system that will meet the needs of the community and contribute to its development," said the participants of the event, which was held with the support of the "Together for Ukraine" Foundation as part of the Voznesensk Community Foundation's project "Professional Start: Self-Employment Program for IDPs of the Voznesensk Community."
