Vitaliy Kim was dismissed from his position as head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Vitaliy Kim from his post as head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The Office of the President published the corresponding decree. 

In a separate decree, Heorhiy Reshetilov was appointed to temporarily serve as acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration. Heorhiy Reshetilov is a Ukrainian official and the first deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. 

From 2015 to 2019, he served as deputy head of the Main Territorial Administration of Justice for State Registration and as head of the State Registration Department of the Main Territorial Administration of Justice in Mykolaiv Oblast.

From November 2019 to September 2020, he served as Chief of Staff of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Since September 2020, he has served as First Deputy Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

From November 17 to 25, 2020 — Acting Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

The fact is that on July 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, in which Vitalii Kim was appointed Minister for Veterans’ Affairs. Vitalii Kim is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician of Korean descent. Since November 25, 2020, he has served as head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

In 2019, during the presidential and parliamentary elections, he worked at the Mykolaiv Regional Election Headquarters of the “Servant of the People” party. In 2020, during the local elections, he headed the campaign headquarters and was also a candidate for the Mykolaiv City Council.  Since 2020, he has been pursuing a doctoral degree in “public administration” at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.
