Vitaliy Kim addressed the residents of the Mykolaiv region following his change in position

Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, announced the end of his term after more than five years in office.

He made the announcement in a message to the residents of the Mykolaiv region.

Kim thanked the region’s residents for their trust and cooperation, noting that he is not leaving Mykolaiv Oblast and will continue to work for its development, but now “at a different level.”

According to him, the duties of the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration will be carried out by First Deputy Georgy Reshetilov. Kim described him as an experienced leader who has worked alongside him from the very beginning and expressed confidence that he will receive all the necessary support and authority.

Vitaliy Kim also assured that he would continue to work to ensure that the Mykolaiv region receives funding from the state budget and that all projects already underway continue to be implemented.

At the same time, he announced that he is moving on to a new position of responsibility related to supporting the Ukrainian military. He has not yet disclosed details of his future work, noting that he is still finalizing his plans.

At the conclusion of his address, Kim thanked everyone he had worked with, emphasizing that he will always remain a resident of Mykolaiv. He also announced that, moving forward, operational updates will be published on the channel of Georgy Reshetilov, the acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

As a reminder, on July 16,Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Vitaliy Kim from his positionas head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

By another decree,Georgy Reshetilov was appointed to temporarily serve as acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration. Georgy Reshetilov is a Ukrainian official and the first deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. 

It was later reported that Ukraine’s new Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a list of his proposed cabinet ministers, including Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Vitaliy Kim was nominated for the position of Minister of Veterans Affairs.
