Upon his dismissal, the rector of Odessa Polytechnic University declared three apartments and one million in income

Gennadiy Oborskyi, rector of the National University “Odessa Polytechnic,” declared three apartments, a plot of land, and more than 1 million hryvnias in income for the first eight months of 2026 upon his resignation.

This is evidenced by Oborsky’s declaration, filed on October 5, 2026. The document covers the period from January 1 to August 31, 2026.

According to the declaration, during this period, Oborsky received 803,903 hryvnias in salary from Odessa Polytechnic and 207,600 hryvnias in pension benefits. His wife declared 27,200 hryvnias in pension benefits.

Thus, the couple’s total income for the specified period amounted to 1,038,703 hryvnias.

The rector’s assets include three apartments in Odesa with areas of 91.2, 42, and 29.1 square meters. The third apartment is jointly owned by Oborsky and his wife—50% each.

The declarant also owns a land plot with an area of 800 square meters.

The declaration lists a 2012 Toyota RAV4 as a vehicle. Oborsky purchased the car in 2016; its value at the time of acquisition was 194,000 hryvnias.

At the same time, the declaration does not list any monetary assets, bank accounts, securities, corporate rights, or financial obligations. Oborsky also did not declare any expenses or legal transactions for the reporting period.

Hennadiy Oborskyi is also listed as a member of the governing body of the “Polytechnic Odesa” rugby club.
