Two villages in the Kherson region have announced a mandatory evacuation and a ban on children entering the area

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Kherson Regional Defense Council has decided to add the villages of Krasnopilskoye and Charivne in the Borozenskoe community to the list of areas subject to mandatory evacuation. This decision was prompted by the expansion of the area affected by enemy shelling. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was announced by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In these settlements, there will now also be a ban on families with children entering due to the threat to their lives. Law enforcement officers, rescue workers, and social services will conduct outreach efforts with residents. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>During the meeting, the purchase of an armored vehicle for evacuating people was also approved. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier, it was reported that Russian occupiers had received orders to conduct so-called “free hunting” of vehicles in the Kherson region. To carry out their terrorist plans, they have increased the presence of their drone units in the region. 

The occupiers are particularly interested in vehicles that can be identified by their appearance as belonging to the Defense Forces. There is alsoanincreasedrisk ofattacks near areas with large concentrations of vehicles, particularly near supermarkets, markets, and gas stations.

On August 8–9, Russian troops launched strikes on the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and attack drones. As a result of the attacks, 10 people were injured, including two children.
