Two police officers and three TCC soldiers were hospitalized because of a BMW driver

In the Primorsky District of Odesa, a 52-year-old foreign national driving a BMW crashed into a traffic jam near a mobile checkpoint. Four cars were damaged in the collision. 

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region. 

As a result of the multi-vehicle collision, two police officers and three military personnel sustained injuries. The injured were hospitalized. The severity of their injuries is currently being assessed.

An investigative team specializing in traffic accidents and patrol officers are working at the scene. All those involved in the accident will be tested for intoxication.

According to preliminary information from law enforcement, at the time of the collision, police officers, together with employees of the Traffic Control Center and the Special Police Unit, were conducting public awareness activities at a mobile checkpoint.

On September 8, a traffic accident involving two minibuses occurred on a highway near Odesa. There were casualties as a result of the collision.

As previously reported by Intent, Russian forces attacked a highway in the Odesa region. Three trucks were damaged in the strike. One of the trucks caught fire. Three people sustained injuries.

On September 25, a vehicle belonging to DTEK“Odessa Power Grids” was struck by a Russian drone. One power utility worker was killed, and another was wounded. The enemy attacked the vehicle just as DTEK employees were driving away from the substation due to an air raid alert. The Russian drone deliberately changed course and targeted the power workers’ vehicle.
