A Russian drone changed course and struck a vehicle carrying power company workers in the Odesa region

A vehicle belonging to DTEK “Odesa Power Grids” was struck by a Russian drone on the afternoon of September 25. One power utility worker was killed, and another was injured. 

According toOleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, the enemy brazenly attacked the vehicle just as DTEK employees were driving away from the substation due to an air raid alert. 

According to him, the Russian drone deliberately changed course and targeted the power workers’ vehicle.

Throughout the day, the Russian army launched massive attacks on civilian targets and facilities critical to the region’s operations. The strikes damaged an infrastructure facility and a production and storage building belonging to the company.

A total of three people were injured. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires that broke out after the shelling.

Relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officers are collecting evidence and documenting Russia’s war crimes.

Oleg Kipper expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased power worker.

On the morning of September 25, one person was killed and another was wounded as a result of a massive enemy strike on the Odesa region. Russian forces shelled a residential area and the logistics facilities of “Nova Poshta.”

 On September 24, Odesa was also under attack by Russian forces. Specifically, a medical facility and dozens of buildings in the city were damaged.

The attacks continued that day into the afternoon—the occupiers struck the city with 15“banderole”-type loitering munitions.

The shelling caused damage to private homes and high-rise buildings. An 11-month-old girl and her 35-year-old mother were injured in the attack. Both victims were hospitalized.
