Two killed and ten wounded in Kherson region as a result of Russian armed aggression

Over the past 24 hours, on August 2, two people were killed and ten others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"Due to Russian aggression, 2 people were killed and 10 others were injured," Prokudin wrote.

Russian troops shelled critical and social infrastructure, residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaging 10 high-rise buildings and 15 private houses. The occupants damaged a road bridge, a gas pipeline and private cars.

Due to the damage to the bridge, the authorities called on the residents to evacuate the island.

The enemy airstrike has complicated logistics. It will be difficult to bring in food and other supplies for the time being. In addition, the gas pipeline was damaged. So for some time the neighborhood will be without "blue fuel". So I urge people to evacuate to other districts of Kherson. There you will receive all the necessary assistance, including accommodation," wrote the head of KHOV Oleksandr Prokudin in his telegram channel.

There have been 57 fires in Mykolaiv region: 39 fires were recorded in open areas, 12 in the private sector, and two more in facilities and transport.

In the first half of 2025, local budgets of Ukraine received more than UAH 245 billion. Revenue growth rates are also observed in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, which together have collected more than UAH 20 billion.
