Two new industrial parks are planned to be built in Mykolaiv. The projects envisage the placement of raw materials processing, machine building and related services.

This is stated in the Program of Economic and Social Development of Mykolaiv Region for 2026.

According to the document, the development of industrial parks continues in Mykolaiv region, which should stimulate industry, attract investment and create new jobs. Currently, there are two parks in the region:

Two projects are also underway in Mykolaiv to create new industrial parks to accommodate enterprises for the processing of agricultural raw materials, production of building materials and furniture, metalworking, as well as related production, services, and research and development activities. To stimulate the development of industrial parks in 2025-2027, a program is in place to cover up to 50% of the cost of setting up such facilities.

At the same time, the volume of capital investments in Mykolaiv region in the first half of 2025 amounted to UAH 2.63 billion, which is almost 2.5 times less than in the same period in 2024. The vast majority of funds (97.2%) were allocated to tangible assets - construction of residential and non-residential buildings, engineering facilities, machinery, equipment and transport. The remaining 2.8% of investments were in intangible assets, including software and databases.

Industry received the most investments - UAH 908.4 million (34.6%), agriculture - UAH 596.2 million (22.7%), and trade - UAH 406.7 million (15.5%). Investments were also made in public administration and defense, construction, transportation, and other sectors.

The main source of funding remains the own funds of enterprises and organizations - 77.2% of the total, while the state and local budgets accounted for 11.1%.

According to local communities, in the first half of 2025, at least 648 projects for the construction, reconstruction, and overhaul of municipal property worth UAH 1.11 billion were implemented, which is 75.6% of the planned amount.

At the beginning of the year, it was planned to create an industrial park in Mykolaiv, but the project was not approved. The concept was developed with the participation of the international company OneWorks as part of the city's master plan. The park was supposed to cover 190 hectares and be divided into three functional zones: for industrial enterprises, infrastructure facilities, and service facilities. It was proposed to be located in the Ingul district between Bashtanske and Kherson highways.
