Two civilians killed in Kherson region by occupants' shelling

On May 15, Antonivka, Beryslav, Blahodatne, Burgunka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Sadove, and Stanislav came under enemy fire and air strikes in Kherson region, Sofiyivka, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Tomyna Balka, Tokarivka, Mykhaylivka, Myroliubivka, Muzykivka, Novokaira, Olhivka, Oleksandrivka, Zmiivka, Zamozhne, Zorivka, Zolota Balka, Chervonyi Mayak and the city of Kherson.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military District Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official said that during the shelling, the Russian occupiers hit critical and transport infrastructure, a humanitarian headquarters, a private enterprise; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 10 private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a garage and private cars.

Russian occupation forces continued to shell Kherson city territorial community yesterday. Damage was recorded in Kherson. In particular, a private house, a garage, and a section of a gas pipeline were damaged. As a result of Russian hostile shelling of the Kherson city territorial community over the past day, one person sustained moderate injuries. A 50-year-old woman was in her yard when the enemy dropped explosives from a drone. The victim received medical assistance.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, two civilians were killed in Kherson region on August 15 as a result of Russian aggression. Prokudin added that five more were injured, including one child. Thus, on August 15, 2024, at about 16:00, the Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kozatske. The explosion killed a 60-year-old man. In addition, on August 5, 2024, at about 16:30, the Russian military shelled Tokarivka with artillery. A woman sustained life-threatening injuries in the yard of a private house.
