On August 14, Antonivka, Sadove, Zymivnyk, Kizomys, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Sonyachne, Beryslav, Dudchany, Mykhailivka, Krasnyi Mayak, Zmiivka and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian occupation army in Kherson region. The air defense forces destroyed eight Shahed-131/136 over the region's territory.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Air Defense Command, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The official said that during the shelling and drone strikes, the Russian occupiers hit critical infrastructure and administrative buildings; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 16 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, garages, private cars, a rescue vehicle, and agricultural machinery.

From 6:00 a.m. on August 14 to 6:00 a.m. on August 15, the Kherson city territorial community was shelled by Russian occupation forces 9 times. Damage was recorded in Kherson, Sadove, Zymivnyk, and Antonivka. In particular, 12 private houses, a workshop, 2 garages, a car, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
On August 14, one person was killed and 13 others were injured, including one child, in the right-bank part of Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression. In the Kherson city territorial community, the occupiers killed one person and injured 10. A man born in 1966 sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of an explosive drop from a drone. Among the wounded are a 15-year-old girl, three women aged 39, 40, 49 and men aged 41, 58, 59, 62, 75 and 61. The last one is in serious condition. One of the injured has minor injuries. The rest of the victims are in moderate condition. All are being provided with the necessary medical care.
Prokudin also noted that during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed eight Shahed-131/136s over the region.
