Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out a massive shelling of the Kherson region. As a result of the enemy’s attack on more than 20 settlements, three people were killed and 19 were wounded.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
<span><span><span><span><span><span>The occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure. They damaged six high-rise buildings and 40 private homes. The occupiers also destroyed an administrative building, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, and private vehicles.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
Around 1:00 p.m. in the Central District of Kherson, a woman born in 1977 sustained fatal injuries as a result of a drone attack. Two men were killed around 9:50 p.m. in the Korabelny District of Kherson. The occupiers attacked them with drones. The identities of the victims are being verified.

On August 11, a child was killed as a result of an attack by the occupiers on the Kherson region. In total, the enemy killed two people and wounded 11 that day. The enemy used aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones.
The Kherson region remains the area where Russian forces most frequently attack civilians with FPV drones. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 16,000 criminal cases have been registered regarding attacks by short-range drones on the civilian population.
