Starting September 1, 2026, new monthly tuition rates for art schools will take effect in Mykolaiv.

The city council’s executive committee approved the corresponding decision.

During the meeting, Yuriy Lyubarov, head of the Department of Culture and Cultural Heritage Protection, explained that the changes are related to updates to industry regulations and proposals from the directors of art schools. According to him, the decision also provides for the introduction of additional benefits for certain categories of children.

According to the draft decision, starting September 1, the monthly tuition fees will be as follows:

The document also provides for additional benefits. Children whose parents are combatants will receive a 50% discount, while children of Ukrainian defenders who were killed or went missing in action will receive 100% compensation for tuition fees. At the same time, as before, children from large and low-income families, children with disabilities, orphans, and children deprived of parental care will study free of charge.

As a reminder, the Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council adopted a decision to establish new rates for household waste management services for the municipal enterprises “Mykolaivkomtrans” and “Obriy-DKP.” The new rates will take effect on July 1, 2026.
