Trukhanov goes on a week-long business trip to Paris and Rome

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has sent himself on a business trip to Paris and Rome for nine calendar days, from July 5 to 13, 2025.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the city council.

On July 5, a delegation headed by the mayor left Odesa for Chisinau and then traveled to Paris to participate in the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. After that, from July 8 to 13, officials from Paris will travel to Rome to participate in the Fourth International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine and hold relevant talks with foreign partners.

On July 13, the delegation will travel from Rome to Chisinau and from there to Odesa. The mayor will be accompanied by Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Marketing of the Odesa City Council, and Hanna Pozdnyakova, Deputy Mayor of Odesa for the Executive Bodies of the City Council.

From July 6 to 16, the World Heritage Committee is holding its 47th session at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. Among other things, they are considering issues related to Odesa, including a report on the state of conservation of the Historic Center of Odesa, which will be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023 as a site in danger.

In May, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov also went on a business trip abroad to participate in the 29th Parliamentary Forum on Intelligence and Security. First, he visited the city of Vienna (Republic of Austria) and the city of Heidelberg (Federal Republic of Germany), and then the 29th Parliamentary Forum on Intelligence and Security in Madrid.

In particular, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov and Heidelberg Mayor Eckart Würzner signed an agreement on establishing partnerships between the cities. Heidelberg also donated municipal and firefighting equipment to Odesa.
