Trukhanov appoints new head of Odesa's municipal utility company

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has appointed an interim acting director of the municipal enterprise Pravo, which is responsible for organizing state registration of marriages.

According to the order published on the municipality's website, Oleksiy Martyniuk has been appointed.

The municipal enterprise operates to meet the needs and interests of individuals and legal entities in the field of reservation, compliance and confirmation of addresses of real estate in the city of Odesa, as well as the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine "Marriage in a Day" and the organization of state registration of marriages in the Palace of Marriages.

In addition to marriages, the company also issues certificates from the Address Register of the city of Odesa:

• on the reservation of the address of the real estate object;
• on the compliance of the address of the real estate object;
• confirmation of the address of the real estate object.

The fact is that the contract with the previous head , Konstantin Moroz, was terminated due to his death. Konstantin Moroz headed the ME, established in 2002, from 2017.

As for the new head of the company, according to the declaration published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, he owns three apartments in Odesa with a total area of 131.8 square meters and a parking space of 12.7 square meters. He drives a 2014 Volkswagen Touareg.

He declared income in the form of salary and additional benefits totaling UAH 284,310. The official also keeps UAH 280 thousand in cash.

Earlier, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov signed a decree appointing the Director of the Department for Mobilization Training, Military Registration and Defense of the Odesa City Council.

He also appointed an acting director of the new Department of Architecture, Urban Development and Land Relations of the Odesa City Council, who is also the city's chief architect. The department is temporarily headed by Nadiya Novikova, who was transferred by the mayor in March from the position of director of the Department of Land Resources to head the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning.
