During the ceasefire, 17 people were evacuated from the Stanislavsk community in the Kherson region to a safe area. About 350 residents remain in the “red zone” without electricity or gas.

This was reported by Suspilne.Kherson.

People are still refusing to leave their homes despite constant Russian shelling.

Oleksandr Babutsky, head of the Stanislavska Rural Military Administration, said that due to critical damage to infrastructure, emergency services will likely be unable to restore utilities until hostilities end.

The official reported that during the ceasefire, humanitarian aid—including blankets, thermoses, warm socks, sleeping bags, and other essentials—was distributed to local residents. He acknowledged that this aid is insufficient.

“Perhaps some people were able to bring in or stockpile firewood during these five days of the ceasefire, but at other times, amid shelling and drone attacks, it’s impossible to deliver fuel,” noted the head of the military administration.

According to Babutsky, gas service was cut off in Stanislav on August 15. Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, and Shyroka Balka are also without natural gas.

He noted that people had been helped to leave earlier as well, but this was done mainly at night to avoid the danger posed by Russian FPV drones. During the ceasefire, it was possible to visit these settlements during the day.
